A product management opportunity has arisen in a dynamic and fast moving company. The objective of this role is to lead the creation of particular customer 'products' (to include a holistic set of physical deliverables and services) and manage the product throughout its lifecycle in order to enable customer success and convert this into maximum value.The successful candidate will be the 'thought leader' for the creation and implementation of specific products based on a clear analysis of customer needs. A product will typically be a manufacturing license with significant elements of technology transfer, customisation services, support, maintenance and future optional upgrades. Responsibilities include the development of the customer's business case on which the pricing strategy will be based. The role requires a very strong combination of technical and commercial skills and will report to the VP Business Development. Other responsibilities will include leading the creation of a business plan for the product line to include the target lifetime revenue and gross margin, Creating and maintaining the Market Requirements Specification and the Product Design Specification of the product and Represent the product line in the formation of company strategyThe ideal candidate must have a background in manufacturing engineering and design or operational experience of clean room manufacturing in an area of relevance printing or coating, high resolution patterning, fabrication of electronics components or displays. Experience of process based technology transfer is highly desirable as is product management or product marketing experience. In addition you must be able to understand the key parameters of the portfolio of individual process steps and conceptualise how they could be configured to meet the cost and performance requirements of target applications.
