Summary information
Producing from Cambridge you'll be responsible for the daily news output covering Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. In particular you'll produce the west sub-opt into Look East and provide material for the main programme. On a day-to-day basis, you'll lead and manage a team of journalists.
An experienced Journalist with first-rate editorial judgement, legal knowledge and imagination. You'll have a demonstrable understanding of TV production techniques and desire to operate in a multi-skilled environment. With an abundance of ideas, extensive journalism experience and, ideally, a knowledge of the area, you will also need to demonstrate leadership skills, and an awareness of the goals of English Regions.
